You will also need a 20 volume developer.

A scoop for measuring.

An application brush and a mixing bowl. (If you don’t have one of these you can always use any Tupperware container as a substitute.)

And finally an old towel.

You are going to start off by laying down the old towel onto your working surface to avoid leaving a big mess when you are all done.

Now grab your mixing bowl and put one part toner for every two parts of developer.

As Erin shows us in her attached video below, she uses the entire bottle of toner which measures out to two scoops and then she adds in four scoops of developer.

Once you put in the desired amount make sure you use your application brush to stir it all completely together.

When it’s all mixed let it sit for a little until you get a nice purple color like the picture below.

Take your application brush again and start brushing the toner onto your hair extensions. Make sure you get it all over and around each individual strand to prevent any missed spots. You can even run your fingers through the extensions and really work the toner into the strands of hair.

When you think it is all good, let the extensions sit for about 30 minutes. Make sure to wrap the extensions into the towel so it doesn’t dry out in the process. Erin even suggests to check on your extensions about halfway through and closer towards the end to make sure they are setting up properly.

After the 30 minutes has gone by and they are all ready to go, rinse them throughly and wash with shampoo and conditioner. Take out a new fresh towel and lay them out to air dry. Wait until after they are dry to brush and detangle them.
